Bitumen Polybag

Polybags or bitubags are environmentally friendly products designed for packaging various grades of bitumen with easier transportation and handling.
To use this product, liquid bitumen is filled into the polybag, made of polyethylene, at an appropriate temperature (lower than the melting point of the bags and higher than the solidification temperature of the bitumen). After cooling, the bitumen solidifies, making transportation easier. These packaged bitumens are then poured into specialized containers and heated to the melting point. This method prevents bitumen loss, reduces costs, time, and energy consumption. It’s worth noting that adding polyethylene to bitumen increases its softening point and reduces its permeability.
Depending on consumer needs, these bags are produced in various sizes for packaging different grades of bitumen.
